Before I continue with posts about Solar Stories, catching up with Space News and talking about larp (I’m keen on promoting SF larp here as this is one of the ultimate outlets for Solar stories), I just need to say Happy New Year
I now feel freed up to move on to all the other content I want to add.
The Christmas and New Year period has been very valuable to me. At the start of it I thought I should write a lot. Instead I took some time out to think about what I should be doing online. Its clear that there are things that I want to create, and talk about but some slowness (can I call it reflection) has been teaching me how I want to spend my time
For instance I’m heavily involved in the UK Larp community. Take a look at LARPBook on YouTube to have an idea or my larp photos over my photo site You can see that I have more than one thing going on.
Which means that I have to balance things out a little bit. Part of that is going to be this blog becoming more of a space where I can work out ideas that both fit in here and don’t fit in elsewhere. That may mean more diversity of post, but it may also equate to taking a few things a bit deeper.
It’s this balancing act that I think will be the driving force of 2023 and I hope that means a more interesting time for people who come here.
Its possible that I could be called a bit fragmented. I think that’s been true of the last couple of years as we’ve come through the Covid-19 pandemic. So 2023 is the year where I stop think and make sure everything goes in its right place.
